There are films where architecture stops being just a backdrop. It starts to feel like a presence – something that sets the mood, controls the pace, and shapes how we look at everything else.

There are moments when traditional dance feels closer to fashion than performance. Not just because of the costumes, but because of how movement, rhythm, and fabric come together to create a full visual statement.

Some stories feel less like literature and more like atmosphere. Like something you can almost wear – layered, textured, shaped by time. Manana Kimeridze’s The Galata Triangle is exactly that kind of work.

Sometimes the most interesting part of art isn’t the final result, but the process itself – raw, unfinished, and open to change. That was exactly the mood of the recent residency involving students from the Apolon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts at Art Villa Garikula.
