Leading Georgian fashion houses Situationist, ANOUKI, and Materiel have joined forces with an internationally recognised music artist to create a couture collection inspired by a full concept album.

The collaboration brings together Tbilisi based labels Situationist, known for its conceptual tailoring, ANOUKI, recognised for its refined femininity, and Materiel, famous for structured elegance, in a shared creative project that merges music and haute couture.

Each look in the collection corresponds to a track from the album, forming a visual sequence in which sound and garment construction evolve together as a single narrative.

Designers from ANOUKI and Situationist worked closely with the artist’s creative team, translating emotional tone, rhythm, and lyrical themes into silhouettes, textures, and hand finished detailing.

The concept was developed over several months through joint workshops held in Tbilisi, where Materiel’s atelier contributed technical pattern development and fabric experimentation for the final couture pieces.

According to representatives from Situationist, the project was not approached as a standard collaboration but as a shared artistic process in which the musician influenced the direction of each design phase.

The ANOUKI brand focused on fluid evening silhouettes and delicate textile layering, while Materiel introduced structured tailoring and architectural forms into the collection.

Situationist contributed its signature deconstructive approach, using asymmetry, raw edges, and layered construction to reflect the experimental nature of the album’s soundscape.

The creative teams describe the collection as an exploration of freedom, identity, and transformation, where clothing becomes an extension of musical storytelling rather than a separate discipline.

Several pieces feature hand embroidered detailing developed in Georgian ateliers, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern couture techniques across all three brands.

Fashion observers note that the collaboration highlights the growing international visibility of Georgian labels such as Situationist, ANOUKI, and Materiel, particularly in the luxury and cultural crossover space.

The final presentation positions the collection as both a fashion and performance project, where garments function as visual interpretations of music rather than standalone products.

Industry voices suggest that this type of collaboration strengthens Georgia’s position in global fashion discourse by aligning its leading brands with music driven narrative design and experiential couture formats.
