Metrica Fashion Show will take place in Tbilisi on May 13–14, 2023, bringing together designers from over 15 countries for an international runway event.
The event’s slogan, “Find Your Own,” reflects a genuine desire we all share – to discover our individuality and connect with like-minded people. The concept of the event encourages guests to discover their own style and connect through creativity, using fashion as a universal language that goes beyond cultural and social boundaries.
On this day, we speak the universal language of creativity, one that transcends backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. The goal is to make fashion accessible and meaningful for everyone. The show will unite designers, craftsmen, artists, performers, buyers, photographers, bloggers, and media representatives from Europe, Asia, and Georgia. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore showroom spaces and purchase clothing, accessories, and jewelry pieces from new designer collections from creators around the world.
Georgia’s fashion industry has been gaining strong international recognition in recent years, particularly with the global success of Demna Gvasalia and George Keburia. The scene has been widely featured in major publications such as Forbes, The Economist, and FASHION Magazine.
This year’s Metrica will showcase designers and brands including Reverie (Georgia), Dmitry Celsin (Georgia), Mriyou (Ukraine), Sacria Atelier (Azerbaijan), Diana Rakhmaninova (Azerbaijan), Pentatonika (Kazakhstan), Lilia D Ulat (Uzbekistan), Cut & Desh (Kyrgyzstan), Raazmoon (Iran), and Aisha (Azerbaijan), along with other international representatives of the fashion industry.
Live performances by artists, DJs, and musicians will also be part of the program.
The event will be held at the iconic Tbilisi Palace of Rituals named after Badri Patarkatsishvili.
Enterprise Georgia, operating under the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, supports Metrica as part of its mission to promote the country internationally through business, exports, and investment opportunities. The Italian Embassy in Georgia also backs the event, helping to foster international collaboration and partnerships.
